The Core Industries group seeks to provide a balanced perspective in policy discussion that affect the citizens and businesses that make up Colorado. Out mission is to inform and advocate for the ability of people to make choices based on what is best for their families, their businesses and their employees. Whether you are concerned about the rising price of putting food on the table, the ever-increasing cost to get to work or run your business, the cost to heat your home, or are concerned about the environment impacts and what we as a community and a state can do Core Industries is a resource for you.
The Core Industries Initiative is inclusive; however, we focus mainly on issues that revolve around transportation, energy prices and policies as they pertain to fuels, and energy used to at home or businesses. Core industries was founded as a clearinghouse for information and research relative to several essential industries in Colorado. These industries include:
- Trucking and Logistics – which provides essential goods as services to our communities and are some of the best paying jobs in the vocational space.
- Energy Marketing and Distribution, which regardless of what fuel you choose to use, we all need energy to get to work drive on our highways to get to work, to see loved ones or take advantage of the wonderful opportunities that Colorado and the Rocky Mountains have to offer.
- Home Heating and Life safety – People should have choices and whatever works best for them to keep their families warm, and to prepare food.
The mission of core industries it to provide information and materials to better educate our neighbors in Colorado and throughout the mountain west. The is no single solution that will work for every person in Colorado. There is no one solution that works for the needs of the communities that Core Industries serve.
